0 - 750 MP Games

Tuesday at 10 AM
Friday at 10 AM

We frequently run special games which award extra masterpoints.
These are noted on our home page and also in the Calendar of Events.
Games fees for ACBL special games are usually $1 extra.

Please check our game calendar (click here) as we may cancel games when local ACBL tournaments are held.

Reservations are not required for any of our games. However, if you are coming without a partner, please call the game director at least 15 minutes prior to start time. The club phone is (215) 699-4932.

Our games are open to all players.  You need not be a member of either ACBL or North Penn Duplicate Bridge Club to play in our games.

North Penn uses BridgeMate electronic scoring for all pairs games.  Please have your ACBL number handy when you come to play, as we do use the feature which displays player names at each round.

North Penn is a member of The Common Game.  All games (with the exception of STaC and some special ACBL games) are Common Game hands.  Game summaries, statistics and often hand analysis are available at The Common Game website.

All Swiss teams games of more than 5 tables use duplicated boards (all teams play the same hands each round), with hand records provided at the end of the game.

What if I don't have a partner?

North Penn Duplicate Bridge Club guarantees partners for all of the Open games, but you must arrive at the club or call the director at least 15 minutes before game time.  The club phone is (215) 699-4932.

For the Intermediate/Novice games on Tuesday morning and Friday morning (each limited to 0-750 MP players) please contact the game director at least 1 day before the game (preferably more).  Since the director can not play in these games, we cannot guarantee partners at gametime. Partnerships must be arranged in advance.

We can often accommodate un-teamed pairs for Swiss teams games, but we cannot insure the availability of teammates, especially for the 8 Is Enough Swiss, due to the constraints on total team MPs.

If you want to play, come on out.  You may be stuck playing with the director if no other singles arrive.
